Anyone any experiences of the V-CC ?

Does seem rather poor forum to plead poverty then split sell at a profit. If he'd have bought for the asking then split then I'm afraid that's capitalism.

I'd join the ride and see how you go. Often people act differently in real life vs the internet.

i used to be a member some years ago and have attended a few local
rides. most of the members i met are ok and mostly helpful .
and the rides well organised
i suppose you always find some one who likes to turn a quick profit
regardless of scruples.
must admit i wouldnt be too pleased in the same circumstances
but as mentioned once the item is sold the new owner can do as pleased
i think its the ethics that probably rankle and i can sympathise with that
ive been to cycle jumbles in the past and sold something only to see it turn up on another stall with a good mark up!
bit like a car boot i suppose
good to hear you are still attending rides hope you enjoy

what happened did you meet up with the guy in question, hope he fessed up?

I spoke to him in a perfectly friendly way.

He 'dropped out' of the ride after only 5 miles or so - I don't know why.
