Simplex, Stronglight, TA, CLB, Atax, Maillard all French, and all easier to find than Mavic

most of those brands were a bit too early mostly and i especially don't want french pedal threaded cranks etc also

but a stronglight headset or simplex retrofriction shifters would be considered. It does already have a campag seatpost.

Well I have bought some NOS stuff from www.byckasport.co.uk and some used items from eBay sellers and now need an 860 front derailleur , brakes and bar/stem to get this vitus going !
