6013 is quite weldable with 4000 series filler, and it doesn't lose as much strength as 6061 when welded. However it does lose strength so it will need heat treating afterwards. If there's a large aluminium fabricator near you they may do their own treating and aging, in which case you could get them to slip your frame in with a batch.

I used to work in a large non-ferrous foundry and we used to send our castings away to be treated, it was more cost effective to do it that way than buy our own plant. Also it would take up a big chunk of space that we didn't have.
