Wanted Answer Manitou Mach 5 SX vintage suspension fork - replacement adjuster wanted

I have a vintage Answer Manitou 5 SX suspension fork (26", 1.25" threaded steerer) that was briefly fitted to my Gary Fisher AL-1 when it was used as my commuter bike.

The fork worked very well until the thread of a plastic adjuster failed causing it to fire into the air when I hit a bump.
It has been a few years since this failure occurred, I've kept my eye out for a replacement part that becomes available but it is a rarity.
If anyone has such a part lying in a parts bin, I'd like to buy it.

Otherwise I will sell the fork for spare parts. It is missing the rubber gaits and stickers so not a collector piece.

These photos show the part I need and a photo of a similar fork.

Interesting, could you post a pic please.
I wonder if the thread and everything is the same. Which model of fork did they come from?

I don't believe it, there is actually a set currently for sale

They were on a set of Manitou 4 forks, but i can check them as i have a set of Mach5 around.
Thanks for offering but I just ordered the Mach 5 SX set in the link above,
I've spent so much time scouring the net to find them over the last few years, it would be foolish to ignore this opportunity.

Oh wow, this sticker set exists too! I might as well restore them now
