I would be very thankful to learn the frame number of this one.

I heard again from the owner of this on Saturday, and the frame number is 9037.
I was pleased to be sent this information, but not as pleased as I was when he agreed to sell it to me :D
His Dad has said that he'll never get it built up again and hates the thought of it not being used.
He knew that I'd been in regular contact with his Son about the bike and asked me to make him an offer he couldn't refuse.
He couldn't refuse my offer so I'm collecting it this week!
Excited is an understatement :D

Fantastic news :D Looking forward to seeing the reveal.....

Re:

Oh and does that mean your heading 'down west' this week then?

Re:

worth the wait I'm sure :D

his Dad is right though, it needs to be built up and ridden!

Fabulous news....

Thanks Carl.
Does the frame number 9037 help date this one against the other e-stays you know of?

Scoring this frame is bitter sweet. One of the people I'd really like to share this with was Martin.
He was always so enthusiastic about all things Overbury's

Whaaaaaat! Nice one...

I would have mentioned it in the pub on Saturday night, but I hadn't told the missile about it at that point

Ha! I was a few beers into the evening by that point - I'm surprised you didn't pretend not to know me and usher her past the strange man.

I'm up Bristol way on 8th/9th if I can help with a pick up.
