Anjou Velo Vintage

Mrs non-fixie and I will be there. 65k on Saturday to at least get some sense of accomplishment, 30k on Sunday for the lunch and the drinks.

Our choice of bikes has yet to be made, probably on the day before our departure, as usual.

I’ll be there.

“L’authentique “ on the Saturday, and then the 35km on the Sunday so I can have a lie in

Probably taking the Bergamin, although I doubt I’ll be able to squeeze into the matching jersey.

Had a blast at this year’s AVV; did the Authentic gravel ride and then bimbled round on the Sunday. It’s grown into a bustling and joyful few days. Took my Randonneur and ‘Callisto’ - home brew gravel bike based on an old British Eagle.

It’s a fantastic event!Somewhat bigger than the first one in 2011....
I still haven’t recovered from the Authentic in 2019 so opted for the 65k and 40k- great rides !
Getting tickets has become increasingly difficult- French Glastonbury!

Hipster wine glass holders have been available at the event for years-the seller made them to order at a stall in the village.Think he was there this year. There’s a bottle holder as well.....
