Indeed it does :LOL: I was hoping to slack on that in it's previous condition and pass off the scratches as patina. No such luck now.

The lever is now drilled and tapped, take that lunch break. However I am now starving. :LOL:

I'll polish it up before I try and mount it, cross your fingers...

Great news that its fixed, though. And if you wanted, you could lightly sand the piece directionally and reduce the tool marks without going too crazy with the polish. :)

I think you should be glad the thing will get used again. I love it when you guys fix stuff that we Americans usually chuck in the dumper. Normally I'm the only one who tries to save stuff like that...little did I know there were a bunch of people like me...just on other continents! :LOL:
