My son feels the same way, despite the fact we share the same workshop... that was until he had to cut the carbon stem of a brand new pair of £350 Niner forks. My role was just supervisory. :mrgreen:

Big long knuckle bar and an extension tube is usually good for recalcitrant BB's
 
Been soaking for a long time, topped up at least twice a day. Nothing happening.

So on Monday I am bringing out the blowtorch to get the bottom bracket out.

Paint looks terrible so if that gets destroyed I'll just need to repaint it. Expect so paint damage anyway when I use caustic soda on the seatpost.

Time to think of colour choices I guess...
