A congregation of Carltons

I think today at lunch time I'll ride my Carlton Continental (which is luckily downstairs here at the office) around Chiswick looking for food, now that I've seen your pictures!

Lovely warm sunny weather too.

You've seen it too Mike!

Yes, I am trying to get on top of the cellar full of bikes situation that I've got myself into. I've got another two project to renovate which I think will be sold when they're done, and then two which I think might be keepers as a treat to look forward to after a lot of trying to clean up Huret Eco...

Re:

The first one of those two projects is up on the repair stand now, and I've just been stripping it down. It's a whopper of a Carlton Circuit - probably in my size, if I could stop myself from buying 23" frames and winching the seatpost up to the minimum insertion mark. A family of spiders has been moved out of the back wheel and the stem is very stuck.

I'll stick a picture or two up as it progresses. Unless it doesn't progress, in which case I will et this thread sink quietly down to the bottom of Retrobike...
