Could you post up the details of the powder coater and some detail shots of tube joints to show what the clear coat looks like over the brazing/welding?

If I'd seen your post earlier I'd have taken some today as I've been doing some more work on it this afternoon...

Rebuilt a Manitou 4 fork and swapped it for the Z1 in the pix above as that is going on SWMBO's Stumpy - now comes in at a respectable 24lbs on the button...

Certainly am, but I can't really take the credit for it because it was the powder coaters' suggestion to add the Metalflake...

...I was originally up for just the clearcoat over the bare metal.

Yeah, it's getting to the point where I take the frame down to him with one idea and come out with something completely better!

The pale blue on my e-stay 'Special' was his choice, and the 'purpley-pink' that's going on SWMBO's Stumpy was as well; think I'll have the Metalflake in that one too

same same here bud..with my 1994 explosif and 1996 kilauea..he suggested something..which gave me "vision"..rest is history
