Had time to walk away and come back to it and it needs a little bit more, at the moment it looks to much 89 Fire mountain

It's honestly not to hard to do because your just flicking a toothbrush with paint on,you've just got to make your mind up that it's what you want to do because once you start that's it there's no going back lol Hardest bit is knowing when to stop because it's fun doing it lol

Some Deore XT parts arrived in the post yesterday, the front mech from Poland arrived that just needs a clean and a new cable fixing bolt and all will be good.
Secondly these lovely nearly new Deore XT brake levers arrived which are perfect, very happy cheers Chris for helping out

Splat attack part 2

Much happier, it's now more 90 Explosif with the blue added than 89 Firemountain.
For me the blue just takes the edge off the bike being just very pink which wasn't to bad really the more i looked at the bike but there was certain areas i wanted covering with another colour.
What have i learned from splatting the frame, No. 1 it's fun, No. 2 i'll probably have a mixture of toothbrushes with more spring in them and No, 3 don't have a frame hanging up behind it because that gets splatted aswell
Next bit while letting that dry is start to clean up some of those XT parts.

A quick clean of the Deore XT mechs and shifters with some autosol just need to find a new bolt for the front mech.

Started to fit the parts and pinched the wheels off my Pine Mountain to move it about.
I'm really happy
I had to prise the clamps apart so as not to scratch those bars, can't be having that lol also ordered some titanium bolts for the stem, seatpost clamp and cable guide don't want old bolts it would look naff
Found the other Kona seatpost i had put away ages ago for this build, so that's that headache cured

So that's enough for tonight and hopefully it's sunny tomorrow and i can see what it's like in natural light.

And if anyone's wondering my border collie dog likes biting lino hence the bits missing on the floor

Much better in daylight

Thought i'd have a look with the black/black chainset which is a nope for me so it'll be black chainrings and silver crankarms.
And i'll not be going with black tyres, amberwall all the way.
Also i really wish i had a yellow lettered Avocet racing saddle instead of the white, so if someone has a good one give me a shout please.
