Hard as hell, having not ridden a rigid bike with straight forks for over 20 years, and with the very (by modern standards) low narrow bars, it feels weird. Having said that it's really light, and when you want to go, it really goes. I only went for a quick spin with the kids (mostly on paths) but can't wait to get it out for a proper ride - will report back !

Congrats on the final result, I will start restoring the same bike shortly.
