7 Speed but with The 34t Rear Cog

Hi all. Have a 7 speed rear cassette and the derailleur looks straight through all the gears but when you do the big jump to the largest rear cog it's got a slight angle.
Never had a cycle with the 34t 7 speed.
Is that normal? thanks.

Is the mech's top jockey wheel touching the sprocket?

Try adjusting the B-tension screw to set the top jockey lower. If you are unsure on this, have a look at the Park tools website.
