Please help before I decide to attack this lovely frame with something sharp or heavy.
I have a Team Zaskar frame which came to me as a frame only and I have blasted and re-powder coated, looks lush.
I am struggling to find a headset that fits properly. The frame requires a fully integrated headset, so a quick click on chainreactioncycles got me a nice Hope one.
For some strange reason GT decided to make the upper and lower bearing cups different sizes. All of the headsets I have tried already have a 7mm bearing for both upper and lower parts. GT decided to have a 7mm lower and a 3.something mm upper, thanks GT!
There must be a headset somewhere that suits the frame, but all of the shops don't seem to have clue what I'm on about (kinda used to that though!)
I see that most of the GT frames came with cane creek headsets, but their website is rather confusing.
I tried GT tech direct, but I might as well have asked my 85 yr old mother.
Please help as all I need is this blooming headset to get the bike up and running.
