2000 Gary Fisher Supercaliber. Finished ! !

Re:

Rubbed down, primered and top coated now!

Just baking it on in the kitchen. How appropriate!

Sweet  I've painted a few frames in my time and as long as you pay attention to the prep it's not so bad, helps if you've practiced abit before so you know how to avoid getting runs and orange peel. I'm surprised not more people do it.

Hows the other one doing BTW

Re:

With the main parts of the frame tidied up, it was time to do the smaller bits. The nds chainstay being the worst.

But after a bit of blue, followed by some white lettering, it was looking a bit better.

Also had to finish off some other letters.

While I had my painting head on, I gave the fork crown a fresh coat, too.

Now it was finally ready to start putting together!

Ritchey WCS post in place.

Got the forks in, with a Race Face headset, looks nice but not sure how knackered it is until I set the brakes up, but I'm not confident at the moment. Along with some more WCS, in the form of saddle, stem and bars.

Also had some wheels for it, handy eh? Along with a lovely XT cassette. Being an 11-30, I am thinking of going 2 x 8 with this bike. So here is how it looks now.
