Is the frame bare now? Could you take it to your local bike shop for advice? I wouldn’t want to give you incorrect information.

No, the frame still has a fair few parts on it.. The frame still has seat and seat post on it. Handlebars are still attached as is the front and rear derailleur. I'm not looking to build to original spec. I'll just be happy to get some use out of the frame and hopefully learn somethings along the way as I rebuild the bike into a functioning bike.

If you want to learn a few things I'd strip it bare and start from there. You'll enjoy it and will probably want to do another!
