Photobucket is rubbish now, nobody uses it.
I used it since 2003, then they ripped everyone off.
Basically took their images to get them to pay monthly to use it.

Polishing will take time and different grades of wet and dry but it will look good for it.
Then get some Autosol.

Found some silver race face cranks...

They look a lot better. I didnt realise until I had everything apart they were 170mm vs 175mm.

I took it for a very quick spin and didn't really notice anything. Is there a big difference or a reason I shouldnt ? I understand in theory that a 5mm longer crank will have more torque, but I'm not racing

Yeah I always thought it looked off being the only major black component on the bike, other than seat and grips.

First ride with the new cranks. Felt a bit different but likely in my head. I wasnt any slower through my normal loop (a bit faster actually). I'll need a few more rides and to forget about the 5mm difference before I can really decide.

Yeah in theory, but with gears I think it's a moot point. I could see in a racing situation, just not sure its noticeable in casual riding. More research to be done
