1997 853 Raleigh

I forgot to post this one!

A rare ish tig welded 853 frame built with Chorus 9 speed and some cracking black Shamal wheels (love these)

The colour scheme is the same as the Foreldorado pro team that rode these frames in 1997

I’ve got the mtb version to build as well

I was lucky with the MTB - saw it on a German site, never been ridden. It’s virtually mint. I only know of two others in red, but I am sure there are more

I've not seen another in that colour but regardless of scarcity it looks fantastic and it will ride brilliantly too - have fun!

I had this one a few years ago - should really be in the MTB section but what the heck - it's 853.
Bought it from an elderly lady in rural Leicestershire who bought it new from Rutland Water Cyles, it had a rack on the back for her shopping!
