really nice bike.... ive got one too. i know this thread is but i need some help on my one as i want to get a longer seat post but cant work out what the diameter it is. im fairly sure its either 27.0 or 27.2 but i cant figure it out. any help would be great. thanks.

i run a 27.0

my 96 kila is a 27.0mm with a 27.0mm control tech post.
interestingly though the same 27.0mm control tech post was too narrow for my hei hei which was also meant to take a 27.0mm. it slid right down the seat tube and knackered the decals.
so the best solution is try the post in the frame!!!
lovely bikes very understated and as mentioned as good as an explosif

All of your comments inspired me to get a grip. I was wondering what to do with my once beloved ride, after I bought a 29'er a couple of years ago. You know what? I'm going to sell the 29'er and get riding my Kona! Woo-haa!
