Productive day in the office today.

The frame came back powder coated but it wasn’t the Blue/purple I’d hoped for!
I’ve spent a couple of hours rubbing it down and will use the powder coat as a base. I’m going to try and paint it myself and will put some pictures up once it’s done.

I’ve given it a couple of coats of paint now. I’m letting it go off before flatting and then laquering it. I’ve used Montana gold paint which seems really easy to use. Louie Lilac and Acid green.

It’s had a couple of coats of lacquer and I’ve given it its last rubbing and final coat today.
Another couple of days and I’ll start to rebuild it.

Seatpost arrived today and I’ve been spending time assembling some of it. Just waiting for the decals and then I’ll cable it up and fit the chain and pedals.

Stickers arrived today! Had the day off work and fitted cables and adjusted it all. Took it around the block and it feels fast!

Thanks, I’m really pleased with it. I took my time with the painting and it’s come out better than I expected. Hopefully the weathers ok on Saturday or Sunday morning to give it a run out.
