Wonder if the head tubes were the same length? Unlikely?
If you’re interested in selling can you pm me a couple of pics? Steerer length and stem length would be helpful too. Thanks.

I’ve put this together roughly so I can get a look at it, unfortunately the black forks have too short a steerer so it’s going to be the Marin ones. Found a threaded headset to use in my parts stash and gave it a service, smooth as butter now. 
I think the stem is a Tioga T-bone (or a copy of one?) judging by the shape of it. Has been painted with a brush by someone.
So I’ll do the forks and stem in blue and the bars gloss black, I’ll grab some paint today.
Saddle is one I’ve had for a while, waiting for a bike to fit it to, needs a bit of tlc but should come up ok.

Gave the frame a thorough wash with muc-off, clean down with wd40 and then a polish with t-cut. It’s come up ok, not perfect. Someone has touched in various scuffs with poor colour matched paint and it has various scuffs and scrapes.
Forks and stem sanded back ok, got them in paint but lacquer has gone a bit cloudy due to the cold/wet weather. Hopefully should sand back and polish ok once it’s fully hardened. Won’t stop me from assembling it for now so all good.

I bought a black 18” (c2c) Daktari 1992 Tequesta and found a dent in the fork once I’d got it home. Not massive or significant but enough to annoy me so when a 16” one in good condition popped up on fbmp I checked the headtube length with the seller 3 times and it was the same so I bought it and swapped the better forks on to the 18” (which I’m keeping). Anyway if you check then I think these forks may well fit!Wonder if the head tubes were the same length? Unlikely?

Components pretty much sorted, might go with a Deore lx rd to match the fd (currently on another bike).
Chainset cleaned up nice and I had a spare nds arm in 175mm luckily.
Digging through my bb stash and I don’t have a spare 73mm bb with the correct axle length so I’m going to have to cut the stuck crank arm off the original one and reuse it.

Well, about time I updated this. I had to sideline this due to the original bottom bracket being too far gone to re-use and no seatpost that fit.
Well sometimes patience is rewarded, this came up on eBay and a quick offer was accepted, collected on my way home from work.
It’s in need of love but I suspect better overall condition to my frame. Only issue is it’s a 22” so may be to big for me - but the parts on it should help me rebuild mine.
Don’t know if I’ll use the magura hs33 brakes and the quake forks, might sell them on an re-coup some funds for more builds..
