Thanks for the kind comments guys. I really love this bike, and I will be slightly sad when it comes to stripping it down for the donation of groupset and wheels for the Ti Mega, but needs must.

Agreed. Truthfully, I have never heard of a Al-Mega XTR

Never thought anyone would argue against stripping this for the sake of the Ti, and admittedly it's going to be sad to see it split. Fact is, I couldn't do the Ti Mega justice without doing so as I couldn't afford to throw several hundreds potentially thousands to build it on M900, which is what I want.

It's no biggie though, I won't be selling the AM frameset. I might hang it up as a frame, fork, stem & seatpost.
