Mechs came out nice, just brakes pedals and shifters to go
The shifters are a bit sticky so let's hope it's just dried up old grease, a good soak in degreasers and hot water should do the trick.

There's something immensely satisfying putting together a budget build & not a high end build, it's back to basics like when we started & we didn't pressure ourselves to own & build a showbike, I've got a Karakoram I'm loving putting back together.

Coming on great guns, just ordered some chrome plastic crank caps as it was missing one, couldn't find any grey plastic ones so thought chromed plastic would add some bling.

Finished Very happy with the result, plenty of retro features and a good looking bike to my mind.

Spec is per 1991 GT catalogue apart from the saddle, chrome crank caps in post.
