I had a similar Ascent in black splatter, also a real time capsule. Sadly sold it on.

Kinda messing around right now, but i threw on a set of DX cantis sadly only have one set. Not sure what levers to use thinking some silver dia compe maybe

Going to go with rear derailleur only so white cable housing I think will look good with the color scheme of the bike

Got about six months of tinkering before I settle on what path I’m taking with this bike. In one sense it’s so nice as original, would mean I strip my Klein of it’s XT package and put these wheels on it with other XT components. Then I still don’t have a neighborhood cruiser First world issues no doubt. I do like the feel of the current configuration but not sure this is the bike to do it too…and yes I swapped the Surly Sunrise rise bars from my Kona. Definitely more subtle not sure which I prefer honestly.

Work in progress. I was tinkering with this bike contemplating selling it so I threw some Kenda Klaws on it then the high moto bars the the LX 560 derailleurs and couldn’t help being in awe of this bike. I’m swapping over to the Table Tops for a real street burner look. Will get brifters likely XT and a black B17 or maybe C17 Brooks saddle.thinking white cable housing but would really like people’s thoughts. Thanks
