Tyres have arrived and gone straight on

Bars and stem arriving soon, along with a NOS m730 XT bottom bracket.

Finally, some progress this evening. I was a bit disheartened when the stem turned up as it was not as described, however, it’s the correct one for the bike and I can source a better one without the rush now.

I’ve been lazy with this one and have only just got it finished. I swapped out most of the rusty bolts yesterday and gave it a quick polish, followed by a shakedown run around the block. Still a couple of final touches required, but it’s done for now.

It’s a bit rusty so I may repaint at some point, but this is worth a try for sure
