Haven't seen that model before - has '91 graphics, but '90 tubing, as they went to True Temper in 1991. Also, they went to a fatter-looking Spinner fork in 1991, and to a T-Bone stem with the spagetti cable guide, instead of top-entry. Here's my son's 1991 Apex:

So looks as if this LE was a mid-season bike then with (then) current tubeset supplier married to next seasons paintjob. Maybe why it doesn't feature in any catalogue as well.

Thanks for your thoughts guys. 1990 frame, fork and compnents with 1991 graphics sounds alright to me - last of the Tange frames sold off in 1991, or the first bikes with the new graphics sold in late 1990, perhaps?
