I hope the moderators will cut me some slack on posting this one here. I feel this is where it will be most appreciated.

This journey started the fall of 2020 at our annual swap meet. Paul Brodie was there with a display of wares. One being
the romax he was building for himself. Most brodie fans will have seen the youtube videos. Also on the display table
was a lone fillet brazed fork. I asked after it. Paul said it was from a project that had fallen thru for a 2nd romax he was
going to build for someone. I asked if he was interested in continuing the process and building it for me. He said he
would think about it. In January 2021 Paul called me and asked if I was still interested. I said of course I was. So he
went to work and this is the result. When it was done, Paul asked what colour I planned on. I said I want mine to be
clear coated just like his. This meant he had to hang on to it a bit longer and do the amazing job of putting down
the cool cross hatched pattern on it. There was also an issue with him not having enough of the activator left for
the clear coat. But thanks to jimbotoad to the rescue managed to get some from the USA via a trucker buddy of
his bringing it back. We still couldn't cross the border due to covid. All the while i was pulling bits and pieces out of
every closet that I had squirrelled away for just the right build. Then over beers with vintageman one night a colour
motif for decals was decided on. I hope you can all have a chuckle over the model name play on words. It has
been a fun project to see come together.

Amazing build you've done, a work of art in my eyes.
I've watched his build a few times on his Romax he's a fabricating genius.
I love U-Brakes and the ones he made were amazing and the brake levers aswell.

How I missed this the first time around I'll never know!

It's sooooooo good.

Even if I do think the extra gold bling distracts a little from the braze work but over-egging it a bit.

That said, Ringle aside, I love your choice of components on this Roy!

And I'm so jealous of you having a custom Paul masterpiece like this! Congrats.

I'd planned to leave my stem raw/clear coated also.

Hopefully one day...
