Mine is from Shimano, I got a large-ish rubber 'mega-9' one at the same time. Appear to have lost that one though. I also used to have a metal Hope keyring, a bit bigger than a dog tag with 'hope' etched into it. Also had a Pace one nearly the same. Think I've lost all these now though :roll:

Is it even safe having that many spacers?

How much would it be to collect instead and where are you located?

I've still got most of my old gear from 10 - 12 years ago. A Giro Gila helmet in black, cream and metallic green. A pair of Pace DH trousers, a pair of Fox/ Specialized trousers, quite a few fox racing jerseys and a White Brothers - Zzyzx jersey which I got from Jerry Dyer at Bike '99.

Here's my gold set of L&M Downhill cranks.. (ATB pattern spider) Had them since new, bought in 1998/99 for £125.00 A friend at the time had a set of the XC ones, only difference I could see was that his had a lot of CNC work on the back of the arms and obviously omitted the word...

Nice, are those the 2000 longer travel (5") z1's? I was always a bit gutted I hadn't waited a bit and got those. You also have the slightly newer hope M4's. I always wanted the dh4's back in the day but just couldn't afford them, had magura Hs33 tomacs on mine up until I got the dh4's off this...

I agree, I loved Azonic DS1's back in the day but never had one. Had a polished planet-x jack flash but its not really as classy. Here's my current dj set up from that era (made a few changes since the pic inc 38T ring, dmr guide, etc).. Next upgrade is a gold seat post and blue...

The only thing I can remember about ballistic is that they made lower end suspension forks. With a curved brake booster that said ballistic on it. I think I do recall a frame, polished if I remember right.. Edit. Is this one...?

I have got rid of most of my collecting bug through my retro games collecting, I haven't bought any more retro games for well over a year now. However my spare room now looks like this; I have a small collection of single malt whisky's about 20 but I plan on drinking them all so it's not...

I love it and I do need a 2nd bike. The problem I have is the cost of adding worthy equipment to finish it off. Then it would also be another bike to be kept in the house - gf would not like that. Why does life have to be so awkward :( I hope someone else buys it quick before I get myself...

Had a crappy day tinkering with the bike today. I've been invited on an XC ride next Sunday with a couple of blokes from work, neither ride much so it's just going to be a bit of a laugh/ something to do rather than an epic. So I bought a new (old) stem, x-lite fly, put that on - thinking...

I'd say it's a sin. Even if nobody else notices you will always know. I collect old video games and you somtimes get tempted to make scanned covers for rare unboxed games so they look nice on your shelf, but then it will just play on your mind.
