Unknown bike - Fillet brazed content (pics)

Hey guys, I'm considering buying this bike but would like to know what it may be first, I'd appreciate any input on this. Thanks!
What I know,
-It's purple
-You can mount two bottle holders to the down tube
-Fillet brazed frame/stem
-U-brake on the lower rear stays
-Owner thinks its a Brodie
-Unusual headset

Where the heck does the front brake cable go into the stem?

I know exactly what it is. If you don't want, I would buy it. I'll tell you what it is after a few other RB members guess.
I had a chance to ride one last year.

Also has a hook for mounting a pump.
looks very Brodie-Toadie.
All the seller can tell you is they thinks it's a Brodie?

Maybe it was made at one of Paul Brodie's frame making classes and is a one-off??

Not a Toad.
There is a problem with that pump mount. The pump would come loose and fall into the wheel.

very nice. i have not seen anything exactly like that before. I am guessing from the running gear that it may be circa 86-86. looks very high end hand made to me.

I may be wrong but is that a Dura Ace headset? It's high end at least - I saw a spanner on sale somewhere on the net specifically for that star shaped nut - can't remember where but I'm sure it was DA.
