its a shame when your young or a new driver but you have to start somewhere........
i remember paying £3,500 on a civic type r and £1,500 on a saxo vtr for the wife......£5,000 a year insurance then the car payments and fuel on top, crazy days when in my early 20's.......
look at old citroen berlingos etc, and old diesel cars to get on the insurabce ladder. but be prepared to be stung for years

stupid thing is, i could afford too run and insure a 600cc bandit, for 2.2k per year
