To produce a break off bolt for this precision billet rear mech. Should be simple enought - maybe able to doctor an existing bolt.

Anyone want to lend their services for cash/swap of gear...?

Not as easy as you think, making from new will require the hex machining in the end (not simple or easy to do without the right equipment) and modifying an existing one will be a nightmare (holding the component in the lathe)

bolt

stick an old one in the lathe and machine a groove in it to about 50% depth,will still be strong enough as long as you keep it WELL cool while cutting
