beautiful bike, not sure if it is 1996, looks like 1994 to me but i did no check the serial number...probably it is just the decals & wrong badge... i love merlin (i have a 1996 mtb extralight) & syncros stuff so your bike is almost perfect for me.

But i loved the black cook cranks & the titec stem too!

Syncros Revolution or Mc Mahon steel cranks are perfect for merlins and then it comes your black cooks a close 3rd best option (well moratti would be nice too lol)

It´s -96, I have checked serial.
I have new decals waiting, but still have had no time to start changing them. :roll:

After all I know place in Finland where is a lot Spinner forks..
I just have no change to go there for a while.
