Age Sunbeam-BSA

Retro Newbie
I’m renovating a Sunbeam-BSA and found useful details to estimate the age:
- Frame n° S10347
- BSA Three Speed Hub
- Villers free wheel
- Little Oil Bath Chain Case
I suppose this must be an early 50’s model.
Can anyone help to have a precise indication of the age of this bicyle?
Tx in advance,
Luc

Re:

I remember Sunbeam/BSA models from the early 50s to the demise of BSA, as I was retailing them.
The difficulty of removing the rear wheel for example, and BSA made a hub gear which left the cog in place.
The villiers freewheel does not belong to this bike.

When removing the rear wheel we would suspend the bike with the rear wheel downwards, get the chain connecting link visible at the rear cog, and remove it, then tie some useful lengths of wire to it so that we didn't drop the chain off the chainwheel. In this world of QR this sounds unbelievable.

The BSA hub gear was originally an early SA (1910) very smooth running but far more difficult to machine, and has major critical parts that tend to wear, sliding the whole planet cage into the driver for the high gear, held in by a spring, which results in both components rounding off the mating edges.

Tx Keith.
The rear tire was damaged and I managed to get the wheel out of the Little Oil Chain Case. Indeed, not an easy task and I hope not to have lot of flat tires in the future...
The BSA hub still works perfect but I cross the fingers it will last for a long time...
Do you have any advice which oil to use in this hub?
