Columbus Neuron timeline

Does anyone know when Columbus introduced Neuron tubesets? I think it was the early 90's but I can't find anything on the internet.

My bro was working in Italy in 96 and Columbus was one of his customers. When he came back to England, they gave him a boxed Neuron tube set which at that point wasn't available on general sale.
He had it built into a lovely frame by Vernon Barker and it ended up being featured in a bike mag as cutting edge steel.
So I'm saying 96ish it probably started
