1992 Gt Karakoram

Lovely bike, would love an old gt one day.

I am not sure on charge splash backs......they should look good, amberwall, good size, knobbly....but I have yet to come accross a bike they really suit.

Don't get me wrong, they look ok, but black walls for me on this instance.

I'm thinking the blackwalls were better but as I've just bought the splashbacks they can stay for a while

If only you had more than one bike, so you could switch the Splashbacks to another

I prefer the blackwalls on that bike, but it still looks good as it is.

Thanks, it rides better on the Splashbacks anyway so they will be staying.

After a long winters hibernation the old girls back out and now wearing Mag 21's. The Quadras might have matched the colour scheme but they are rubbish compared to Mags. Decals courtesy of Gil now fitted too.

Here it is basking in the late evening sunshine with Fluffychickens Rocky Mountain.

I just bought a 92 Karakoram as this was my first quality mtb back in the day. The bike i have bought is all original parts apart from maybe the tyres.It has black Michelins fitted.
Does any of you know what the original tyres were ?
