Marin Madrone Trail..?

Have to say I've never heard of this model, "the first model Marin ever made in 1986"..

Can anyone shed any light on it?

Okay, did some digging myself.. From Wiki..

..Marin’s first product was the Madrone Trail, a $199 mountain bike.

But the one listed isn't from '86 if it has the Zolatone Paint.. So yeah, 1990/1..?

I have heard of the madrone trail but cannot remember where.

Like the bull frog and zig zag, i think they were european issues or non uk anyway. They were around in 80's but that model is 1991-ish.

Now it's doing my head in!

similar to eldridge iirc in the league table.
