Anyone recognise this Retro Kona frame

A pal has a steel Kona in black with a ribbed down tube. The original colour was black but has been resprayed and no transfers show what tubing it is. The frame came without forks but has Impact headset
Has similar variable tube thickness same as my 1992 Explosif.
Please has anyone got an idea which model this is

The ribbed down tube is certainly different to my unribbed downtube.
Also mine has varied tube diameters where the ribbed down tube on the black frame is one diameter
My 1992 Explosif is in gold it was also made in black and the Explosif Pro was made in Metalic Black.
