Have ridden around Bracknell forest and Surrey hills a few times been brilliant. But the rear v brake kept clogging and not working, so for my Xmas pressie the missus found a matching rear brake and got me a new seat post and rear brake adaptor to go with it.

Re: Specialized FSR (a little freshen up)

Will do buddy buts in bits trying figure out the rear disc size I need, also need new tubes. Rear mech, cassette, chain and rear mech hanger

Any messed around with the a2z adaptor? Seems a bit strange?

Re: Specialized FSR (a little freshen up)

Any recent pics? Did you sort the a2z adapter and disc out for the rear?

Re: Specialized FSR (a little freshen up)

Big thread update

So wheels fitted and where awesome, for the price don't weigh to much, and so far lasted 2 trips to wales, running true

Sorted the a2z problem wasn't anything to do with the adaptor but took matters into my own hands and welded the adaptor on....

But turns out my lbs had made the selector cable too sort and so the wheel was alway being pulled, and when on the Wales trip it kept shifting when siting down, it would shift gears so I paid the local shop on the hill to re do the cable and problem all gone

How she currently stands

My plan, is to get it powder coated a bright green or orange with new original decals, get the lower front shocks matching colour, get my hope brakes serviced and new brake pipes, convert to 1 front ring, and 10 speed rear end, but switching to SRAM, BetD linkage to run a 165mm rear shock with lock out, new bars, grips, seat post

Would love suggestions and opinions
