Can you let me know the grade of alu these frames are made of or which grade of rod your welder used so I can get mine back on the road...

The frame is 7005 aluminum
I used 5356 filler rod. Check that with your supplier (it might be 5653 rod).

I had one of these in '93 and mine came with black wall tyres and it looked fine.

First test ride today. Wow! What a fun bike!

I made custom straddles. I think they clean up the canti's looks.
What do you guys think of them?
