Setting up Curve canti help

Not used these since I was 15 so was after a bit of advice.

Anybody got any tips to get these set up working well? I'm using ceramic rims so prob makes a difference? Are these brakes much kop in the canti world?

Anybody got a fave canti lever or I guess this doesn't make too much difference?

I hate to say this but....

Having tried to set up a lot of bikes with Curve brakes (I worked in a Kona dealership) the general consensus round the workshop was that...

they are a bit bobbins. A nightmare to set up, go out of adjustment within a week of them being dialed in and mushy to boot.

I preyed it was my cack-handed teenage skills which caused a spongey brake whatever I tried but guess not.
