Sugino Mighty 900 - Any good?

Got some Sugino Mighty 900 cranks kicking about that came off a bike I bought 2nd hand. I'm thinking about using them on the Klein when I rebuild it because the tapers are dying on my FSA Sidewinders.

Does anyone know if they're any good? What's the Shimano equivalent?

Mighty Good

Sugino Mighty 900 cranks are good and light. You can still get them from SJS cycles plus the required chainrings. Mine are 180mm long so plenty of leverage !

Cheers

Cheers guys. I wasn't going to use them because they look "normal" i.e. not big and chunky like my sidewinders. However, now I'm told they're pretty good I guess I'll sling 'em on. They're a bit battered looking at the moment so I'll get the old polishing mops out and make them bling.

they hold up well as most sugino cranks do. they had occasional batches come through where the chainring spider tabs were bent from new, when you spun the cranks & looked downwards the chainrings appear to move in & out of the frame < - > wasnt a common problem tho :)
