My son, Jake, aged 7, was awarded 2 swimming medals tonight. Not too special you may think but Jake was diagnosed with severe autism in 2005 and has recently been found to have Duchenne Muscular Dystophy. I am so proud of him and he is really chuffed that he has some medals and certificates to show for it.
