North Shore/Whistler

Sorry to repeat myself, but now that I'm home, I've had a chance to edit and add music to the videos I made over there. So if anyone is interested in the Canadian mountain scenery, these should be a little nicer than the halfass ones I threw up when I was there. :D Of course, I'm, riding a modern fully as I'd probably seriously hurt myself and my bike if I tried to ride these trails on my '92 Explosif. So yes, this is modern biking content  The music, however, is for the most part retro.

Loving your work! Trying to convince my wife to take me to Whistler for my birthday, just need several 1000 £'s, riding skills and the bike.

What camera did you use?

GoPro helmet wide. Nice little camera...and I do mean little. Fits in the palm of my hand. It's a wide angle with 170 degree angle fisheye lens.

I got a ticket for 4000 crowns return (off season), which is around £400? Day pass at Whistler is 51 CDN dollars. Bikes can be rented there and at the Cove bike shop for North Shore riding (56 CDN for a Stinky, padding and helmet.) You could probably do it for less than several 1000, but it does cost money for sure. Keep at the wife, as it's not as much as you think.

I brought my own bike, by the way, and stay with friends (Mt Seymour is their backyard) so I know I'm lucky...and am grateful.

I'm glad you like the vids though.

PS skills are no problem in Whistler. They have something for everyone. Once you try a green trail, you'll realize half way down that you need to be on blue, and there are plenty of trails to choose from. Plus you can combine them on the way down at junction points where several trails will meet.

She has spent £8,400 on her birthday treat for her 50th next year, so when mine comes around (a few years away) I am going to spend large amounts of money.
