V and Canti Combatability?

Will I (well the person who is going to use it anyway) die if I use Vee brake levers with cantilever brakes? It is the only solution to a whole host of problems. Everything seems nice and tight and the bike isn't going to be taken down Mammoth at all.

Is it the the other way around that causes real problems, ie Vee brakes with canti brake levers?

At worse it'll be poor modulation. The other way around and canti levers can't pull enough cable to activate V's.

Some V levers have a canti setting.

Not difficult or time consuming to swop them over
Give it a go and see how they feel,you know best what your style is and whether or not its going to work for you
