Prompted by Sticky Legs' post.. I gotta ask, what was your first Live Concert/Gig/Festival..?

I'll kick off the proceedings.. 1988/9 I think it was, Brighton Centre..

First proper gig was James @ the Gloucester Leisure centre in 92. Supported by a smallish band called Radiohead.....

Wasn't 'hypocrite' their big hit? I've a lush album kicking around somehwere (on tape), that's the only track i can recall.

I saw Radiohead (well two of them) in an acoustic showcase in a record shop in France, must've been around '93-'94. There weren't many people there!


I can't recall how "Hypocrit" goes. I've only got one EP from Lush.
 
1st big gig...Smashing pumpkins in Southampton.
Best small gig.... Xentrix at the Air balloon in Portsmouth.
 
:LOL: Housemartins! about '87 at Hull Tower... cost £1.00 at the door.
seem to remember they had no support act, so did it themselves!!

Hull tower now long gone i think :(
 
My brother brought me tickets for Queen at Wembley Stadium in '85 when I was 15. Supported by INXS (unheard of at the time and crap), The Alarm (68 Guns, awesome) and Status Quo (we truly rocked all over the world).
Few years later, Rage Against The Machine at Reading including my first stage dive.
