I was on short (80km) ride today (You know the one,You try to cover 51km in two hours...) and towards end I managed to catch rider on road bike.
I was too tired to overtake him, so I just hanged behind him doing 30km/h.
Then he blow his nose to both sides, so I tried and overtake him. I was really feeling weak as I didn't take any food nor water with me. He then overtake me back and saying something, that I didn't understand.
Showing here mine inexperience,but, is there any proper way to approach rider in front of You?

Yes, you need to burn them up! you know, like when you were a kid and you rub your front tyre against there rear tyre

Thing is,he was aware that I am behind him. I should had take another route on river shore "path".

The last time i did this was 1980 on the Thurmaston bipass. It got me an invite to Saffron Lane on a club night where I was shown up and humiliated by all.
