Right about now here in Canada we get completely fed up with this shit. Luckily we have hockey and you can lose it on someone, beat the crap out of them, and the only repercussion is a game misconduct (match penalty? red card?).

Still, can imagine the snow might get old. When does it typically thaw?

It's hit and miss. Some times it's in the 60s at the end of March, some times we get a blizzard for Easter. Last year we were still getting flurries at the end of April. I remember picking my dog up at a shelter out of town on the 27th of April. I wore shorts. By the time I got home 4 hours later it was 40 deg. and there was sleet coming down.
