I had this delivered the other day. A couple of things to note - the seat post bolt had obviously stripped the securing nut and a bodge had been done and the linkage bush was cracked - I dont know what GT were thinking drilling a slotted hole through this to created the rear cable stop as it left hardly any metal left, no wonder it cracked.

I had lusted after one bitd as it was just out of my price range and hey it was an LTS.

Showing a stock ebay photo as I've stripped it down to replace the bearings and elastomer.

Thought I'd post an updated picture to show where this build is at. Pretty much finished apart from sorting out the front forks as for some reason there don't much. Have always preferred the Vectors that connect to the stem, but they are a hassle to fit.

Nice bike, my one kept breaking the same part too but as it came with V brakes and I'd replaced the same part a few times I ignored it and just kept riding.
