I've been dabbling with this bike for almost a year now - polishing a bit here and finding a part there. And it's finally finished.
The Ritchey Vantage Sport wheels aren't original but I like the bronze rims against the purple tubing - and against the amber walls of the unused Ritchey Megabite tyres (which I found by chance when collecting another bike).
A previous owner had attempted to fix the scratches and stone chips with silver touch-up paint, which had ended badly, so that all had to come off before I could restore the purple underneath.
The build is as close as I could get to original spec (drivetrain, brakes, tyres etc). The original Tioga Avenger headset was replaced with a NOS one from a member here, as was the saddle and handlebar. There's also a new bottom bracket in there. Everything else is Shimano Deore LX M550 group.
