I have a pair of wheels with black Alesa rims off a 1989 Saracen Tufftrax, and they're no use to me as they're straight walled. Not sure of condition as I haven't ridden them - they look okay for the most part but a lot of the anodising has worn off the brake surface. How would I know if they're what you're looking for?

Thanks Ghosty for the heads up - the alesa rims that im after are the 9017 rims. they are like these below but in black

the sticker on them is exactly as the one that im after. Ive seen some basic alesa rims that have the alesa name engraved on them but that's not the set im after.

lovely rims.....ouch on the price, bit above my price range but may keep a watch on these. Sinnerman do you know if your hubs on the 753 are centaur?

bars are off for a repaint - thanks again to Coleman for helping out on this.

I've got some boxed NOS Centaur hubs somewhere. They'd match those rims nicely (maybe, I can't recall the spoke count!).
